Explosion is a beginner/intermediate class for ages 11-18. They train two hours per week, and there is no experience necessary to join!

Program/Team Details
Explosion are part of our Novice/1 Allstar program. Novice/1 Allstar is specifically for beginners new to the sport of Allstar Cheerleading who like a challenge and can commit to a year long season with regular training and multiple competitions.

The program aims to provide an introduction to all the skills and routine building of Allstar Cheer with the aim of transitioning athletes to higher levels. Novice/1 Allstar teams attend multiple competitions throughout the annual season (all comps are held in Melbourne) and they get to wear the sparkly Pressure level 1-2 uniform!

Explosion are great as an introduction to cheer, gymnastics tumbling and dance for teenagers looking to start a new sport. No experience is necessary, the main focus for the team is to learn a range of new cheer skills including stunting, dance and tumbling during team trainings.
Team Schedule
Explosion train twice per week and athletes are expected to attend all training sessions. Squad training is a total of 1 hour a week where the kids learn how to jump, do basics stunts and dance and put a routine together. Along with their squad training, Explosion also take part in a tumble class where they get to learn skills like cartwheels, round-offs and forward rolls & walkovers.

Training times for GoldRush is Tuesday 4:30-6:30pm
Season Schedule:
Novice Allstar teams have full year seasons that start in February and finish in December. Athletes are more than welcome to join the team at any time during the year. Training weeks and schedules are similar to the Victorian school terms but please check the information pack calendar or with the office for specific dates.
Annual Enrolment: $100 (covers training uniform, insurance and membership). 

Season Costs: $135 per month (10 x payments for a full season).
Novice - Level 2 Competition Uniform: $220 (price includes competition bow, required to be purchased in April). Competition uniform will be used for the 2021 & 2022 seasons.
